October is upon us and that brings the last three months of the calendar year, better weather and inspiration to add certain themes to our games. Suspense, terror and horror all can find uses in various adventure scenarios and while we rarely need an excuse to pull them out of the toolbox, October tends to be the most common time for their table appearance. We’ll take a deeper look at them in this week’s College of Gaming column.
This month also brings us our first two full-scale local Gaming Events of Guild Year 20. Between this pair of nights, we have twelve tables of RPG and board game action using three different rule systems so there is something for everyone. We look forward to seeing you and sharing a table.
We’ll see everyone on Friday October 11. Don’t miss it … and bring a friend!
